Client Overview
Sweet Pete Treats is a small-batch dog treat company based in Ohio, offering healthy, organic treats in a variety
of flavors. Their mission is to deliver wholesome snacks for dogs made with real ingredients, available in frozen and freeze-dried options.
The Challenge
Sweet Pete Treats needed a cohesive, professional brand identity that could stand out on shelves and resonate with dog owners who prioritize healthy, organic food options. The challenge was to build a visual brand from the ground up—including a logo, brand assets, and custom packaging—while capturing the fun, friendly, and health-conscious vibe of the company..
The Solution
I started by illustrating a playful yet clean logo that evokes trust and joy, featuring hand-drawn elements to emphasize the homemade, natural nature of the product. I expanded the brand visuals with a color-coded packaging system—each flavor has its own vibrant, custom design to make selection easier and more engaging for customers.
The packaging was designed to:
Clearly distinguish between frozen and freeze-dried options
Highlight the use of organic ingredients
Showcase the fun personality of the brand while maintaining a polished and shelf-ready appearance

Due to the treats being created to look like paws and bones. Adding a pattern throughout the packaging would give the brand a fun exciting way to show their pup about the amazing treat they are about to recieve that fits them down to the bone.
