About me

Hey there, I’m Holly!

I’m a dynamic, multi-skilled designer with a passion for creating designs across a diverse range of media platforms. With a solid background collaborating with agencies, I’ve played a pivotal role in shaping design strategies and delivering innovative, cutting-edge solutions. My expertise includes everything from UI/UX design, concept development, graphic design, social media, animation, illustration, and digital design.

When I’m not immersed in design, you’ll find me savoring coffee at cozy cafes or hanging out with my cat, Binx; I’m an animal lover at heart. I am always on the lookout for fresh opportunities to learn and grow.

Let’s connect and create something amazing together!

My UX Process

Define goals

Purpose: What is the website for? (e.g., portfolio, sales, lead gen) Users: Who is visiting and why

Research
Competitive Analysis: Look at 2–3 similar sites — what works, what doesn’t? User Interviews/Surveys (optional): Ask a few people in your target audience what they expect or need from the site.

Structure & Flow

  • Sitemap: Sketch out key pages (e.g., Home, About, Services, Portfolio, Contact).

  • User Flow: Map how a visitor would get from entry → goal (e.g., landing → view portfolio

Wireframes

  • Use low-fidelity wireframes (even paper sketches or Figma frames).

  • Focus on:

    • Clear hierarchy

    • CTA placement

    • Navigation simplicity

Visual Design

Create a style guide: typography, colors, spacing, components. Design full UI in a tool like Figma or Adobe XD. Ensure visual consistency and accessibility (e.g., color contrast, button sizes).

Prototype & Test

  • Create an interactive prototype in Figma.

  • Test with 3–5 people:

  • Can they navigate?

  • Do they understand your offer?

  • Where do they hesitate?

Build & Launch

  • Export assets and hand off to development or build it yourself (e.g., Webflow, WordPress, Framer).

  • Optimize for:

    • Mobile responsiveness

    • Fast load times
